About GX Tattoo UK
GX Tattoo UK is a company based in Westham, East Sussex who have been developing and supplying high quality tattoo preparation and aftercare kits to professional tattooists and studios.
More recently, GX Tattoo have been working in partnership with many talented UK based tattoo artists, and their work is now showcased on the GX tattoo website and social media sites.
Following an expansion of GX Tattoo into the UK market, Ravenbridge was commissioned to develop a new UK based website with online shop. Once the transfer of the domain https://gxtattoo.co.uk across to our servers had been completed, domain linked email addresses were created and the design process began.
GX Tattoo already had a logo and this was used to develop a colour scheme to tie in the site to their company branding. Due to the importance of extra security for online shops, an SSL certificate was installed on the site giving that all important ‘green padlock’ symbol for customers to see.
They had already created an excellent social media presence across a number of platforms and therefore we added a self-updating Instagram feed at the bottom of this website and other links for Facebook and YouTube to allow quick links to regular posts.
Once the web shop was up and running, we moved onto the second stage of the development making this a very complex site behind the scenes.
GX Tattoo work alongside artists and partner studios who have been using their products and the idea was to build a ‘membership’ style element to the site.
These artists and studios could complete an online form and request membership and once this was granted, they would then be able to access discounts on the high quality GX Tattoo products and set up their own ‘profile’ area on the site.
Another important factor was to be able to promote the artistic talents of these artists and studios within the gallery sections, making it easier for potential clients to find an artist for their next tattoo.
Alongside this highly bespoke set up, we also set up a blog functionality to the website and the much needed contact form.
Due to the rapid expansion of this growing company, we are still working with them to adapt the existing site to meet changing requirements and exciting developments in the company itself.
